The opportunity was to create an enchanting family retreat from an existing 4-bedroom house which had minimal detail. Located on a beautiful wooded site with a view of the lake. The exterior was enhanced with a hand-hewened log porch added to the entry side of the house, a large deck and hand-hewened log roof structure was added to the lake side and a cedar shake wanescoat. The interior was updated with a new woodburing stove with a river rock surround and knotty-pine wanescoating and trim through-out.
